SOLD OUT! This handy bronze snap is used to quickly disconnect the harness back-band (turn-back) from the harness saddle (back pad). The knurled thumb lever rotates up or down to lock or unlock it from position. When locked, it cannot be bumped or opened accidentally. Made of solid bronze in Italy. It will accommodate up to a 1″ wide strap. Since this is not a strength bearing area, it is not necessary for a “rated” quick release shackle. Some peope paint them black or silver color if desired. This is the original, high quality bronze snap and not the less dependable lower quality imitation. 3″ long overall, made in Italy of solid bronze.
